This piece was released on December 24th, 2022, a day that marked the 100th day of the ongoing struggle for rights and freedom in Iran. In the words of the creative director, Elyana Shamselangeroodi “It has been one hundred days since the women in Iran have taken a strong stance against the violence and apartheid they’ve faced for over four decades. It has been one hundred days since we’ve lost beautiful innocent soul of #mahsaamini. It has been one hundred days that we’ve lived in the fear that we will not see tomorrow, that we will lose our friends, that we will never speak to a loved one. It has been one hundred days of unrest, unsettlement, fear, anger, resentment, but also deep hope”.
